Chorus History

Panther City Chorus was chartered as a chapter of Sweet Adelines International in July 2008, just a little more than a year after it became a prospective chapter. Membership includes seasoned Sweet Adelines as well as singers who are new to the barbership tradition.

 

Panther City Chorus performed as a guest of the Texas Millionaires, the Fort Worth chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, on their December 2007 Christmas show. In December 2008, the chorus shared their joy of barbershop in a day-long series of concerts at Central Market, several nursing homes and Dido United Methodist Church. Other performances at neighborhood association meetings, family gatherings and a wedding reception have kept the chorus busy.
